Re: Interface font size?
There's no setting for that. The GUI has to be made to handle different "scaling", and if it doesn't work there is nothing you can do about it. I know that at least some of the GUI used to scale back in the day, but later changes might have broken it.

Re: Problem after wake from sleep (NoRouteToHostException)
You need to check the detailed "Power Management" in Windows, where you can make sure that the NIC has power. I don't remember where you find this on Windows 10, but for "proper" Windows versions it was Control Panel -> Power Management and then "Customize Profile" or s...

Re: Problem after wake from sleep (NoRouteToHostException)
My guess is that there's a change in the way the network card driver works, and that this one (as opposed to the last one) is slower to reinitialize during "wakeup" so that the UMS process is resumed before the network card driver is fully operational. Even though the network card driver l...

Re: How to set up UMS web interface?
Seeking is only possible on the web interface if the file doesn't have to be transcoded. This is for technical reasons, the people that makes the browsers (Chrome, Firefox etc) don't think that time-based seeking is important so they don't support it. Only byte-based seeking is supported by the brow...

Re: How to set up UMS web interface?
This can't be the address you got from pushing the button? It's supposed to include a port number as far as I know, something like :9000 after the IP.

Re: How to set up UMS web interface?
There is no setup - just use it (use the leftmost button on top of the GUI to get the address).

Re: How to disable subtitles?
You can't control the subtitles from the PS3, since it doesn't support subtitles over DLNA. Therefore, UMS transcodes the video so that the subtitles are "burned in". You must thus configure UMS to handle the subtitles the way you want it. The subtitles configuration is somewhat complicate...

Re: Set up instructions
If you know what UPnP AV/DLNA is, it's implied. It's not easy to make a guide for this, as the way you navigate a server varies wildly from renderer to renderer. I do agree that it should be made very clear that you're supposed to navigate your media from the renderer, not via UMS' GUI though.

Re: Set up instructions
I don't know what you're trying to do, why do you doubleclick "SonyPlaystation3conf"? I assume, like Windows, that it means that you want to edit the file, and thus you must tell Windows which editor you want to use. That isn't necessary to use UMS from your PS3 though. Instead, enter the ...

Re: Suggestions for a device that supports copying
Any renderer can choose to save the stream UMS sends to a file in stead of or in addition to playing it back, so this isn't about the server at all. I just don't think you'll find very many that offers this, as it wouldn't normally be what people would want.
