Re: 6.1.0 released
Here's the log for the blocking. Doesn't happen with every movie but happens with most which is why I use MEncoder. I tested a few movies but I know it for sure it started happening with Serenity. Also the blocking is mostly noticeable during panning or fast motion scenes. This is my other Panasonic...

Re: 6.1.0 released
FFmpeg works, however there's horrible blocking in the picture quality when I use it. I can post a log if you like?valib wrote:Have you tried to use the FFmpeg instead of the MEncoder?

Re: 6.1.0 released
Thanks again for another new release.
I still have problems with audio sync in MEncoder when using 6 channels so I've posted a log. Also hope you can make a new renderer for my TV

Re: 6.0.0 released
btw for anyone having problems with audio sync after seeking forward / backward, go to audio settings and change the AC3 re-encoding to 2 channels (stereo). This may depend on your renderer though, I have a Panasonic TV P50ST60A. I think this was only with MEncoder as well. Speaking of which, is the...

Re: 6.0.0 released
Starting with 5.5.0,UMS no longer seems to work with 32 bit java. I had 32 bit installed since thats the version that works with firefox. I only figured it out since I uninstalled java and let UMS reinstall it. Then I noticed it had installed 64 bit java. Which isnt really a problem since its been ...

Re: 6.0.0 released
Well done on this release!
Videos that I had issues with before now work. I think mostly due to "Improved Panasonic VT60 support".
But yeah thank you so much and keep it up!

GPU acceleration
Just wondering if there's any disadvantage to enabling this option when you have a powerful video card.
Any problems with this option or does it work as intended?

Not sure about anyone else, but since I installed 5.2.1 I've had problems with audio desyncing and I use the exact same settings as before.

Re: PNG images not supported
What version of UMS are you using. There has been 2 new versions since I posted this which I haven't updated to yet.lobo85 wrote:I can confirm that PNG files indeed do not work On Mac OS X however they are working on Windows.
This is a feature I really would like implemented now that I think about it.

Re: Default Video Engine
1. [encoder] before the name is forced encoder. 2. [encoder] as a suffix in name is the encoder automatically chosen by the UMS logic (order of encoders,...) The first one forces encoder so you are sure this encoder is used The second one is detected encoder which will be used but not forced so if ...
