Re: UMS can't be detected over 2 router network by ps3?
You're PC and ps3 are most likely ending up on two different subnets.
Make sure that each device is on the same subnet,
so for example
Router 1: 192.168.0.1
Router 2: 192.168.0.2
PS3: 192.168.0.3
PC: 192.168.0.4
All with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and a gateway of 192.168.0.1

Re: VLC/Android 'renderer'
Why not try BubbleUPnp for your Android tablet?
You can use this to browse your entire media collection on UMS, and it will then play your selected videos using the video player of your choice. (I have tested it with VLC beta for Android and it works very well)

Re: Show Video Covers

So in your directory you might h...

[Solved] Since 4.1.3 all folder names end with " | JPG"
This is resolved in version 4.4.0 Since upgrading to UMS 4.1.3 all folder names are being displayed with an additional " | JPG" at the end of the name. This makes browsing folders look a little ugly, for example in 4.1.2 folders would look like: Films --> Science Fiction --> Action In 4.1....

Re: Could not create Java Virtual Machine.
Have you downloaded the version of the installer to match the version of Java you have installed?
From the UMS homepage click the "Click here for advanced download options " link, and select either UMS for Java 6, 7 or 8 installer.
