Re: Empty folders after updating
I have the same problem with my Sony tv, I am using Linux as a server particularly Debian 10, is there any fix for Linux ? This fix should be in the latest versions of UMS. If you are using an older version try upgrading. If it is still not working then could you post your logs? see the section in ...

Re: Dates not shown on renderer after updating to 11.x
I think this is a problem with the database. There are errors about missing the column VERSION in the logs, and after that the creation date sent to the TV is set to 0. It may be that your database was not updated correctly when a new version of UMS was installed. To see if this is the problem then ...

Re: Audio Quit working on my LG TV
Your logs do not show anything playing. Try to recreate the issue while UMS is in trace mode before packing the logs.

Re: Can not disable automatic load subtitles
I had a look at this setting on my system and it looks like the "Automatically load *.srt/*.sub subtitles with the same file name:" checkbox has always got the tick after UMS is restarted no matter what the previous setting was. This does not seem to effect the option in the UMS.conf file ...

Re: built-in Subtitles aren't shown after video resume/forward
I see that UMS is not streaming that file because the of the type of subtitles it is using and transcoding it instead. This may be incorrect and your TV might be able to play it natively. Try playing from the #--TRANSCODE--# folder and select "No transcoding". If that works then your conf ...

Re: How to remove languages from transcoding?
I just don't think that is the problem in this NEW version 11.2.0 I think, not that many people have even noticed there are no controls available. Sorry missed this. All controls are there for me. There is no need for FF/RWD in the web-interface as the timeline is there. It woks exactly like all th...

Re: Some folders randomly give "access error" on my Yamaha RX-A730
I think that explains the access error. If UMS could not determine what the format of some of the files were then it did not know what to do with them properly, It probably thinks those .sfk files is media. I think this may also be a bug as I don't think this should have caused an error and prevent ...

Are those videos being transcoded or streamed? Could you post log files of this happening, see the section in red above.

Re: Some folders randomly give "access error" on my Yamaha RX-A730
I'm not sure what the cause may be, maybe the Yamaha RX-A730 is seeing the directory name as a genre and getting mixed up. I'm unsure whether this is happening with the renderer, metadata in the database or something wrong with what UMS is sending to it. As a test you could rename your "Rap&quo...

Re: UMS don't recognize LG TV with USB Gigabit network adapter
Is your LAN port on the PC 100Mbit? If so that seems very slow, even my 10+ year old motherboard has 1Gbit LAN and since you have USB 3.0 I would think yours would have that too. To be able to tell why your TV cannot see UMS I would need to see logs, look at the section in red above. The stuttering ...
