I fixed it nevermind, i presume this is expected behavior but i had the "Show_media_library_folder" setting set to false, setting it to true fixed it

Noticed UMS 10.0.01 was released and so I tried this version and same result, just hangs..this all started in version 10.0,.0. All was working in 9.8.3

My UMS will hang only when I select a video that has movie art, if the video does not have movie art I can select it with no problem

yes, accessing UMS web interface remotely is totally doable. Look at forwarding port 9001. Once this port is forwarded you can access it by referencing your external ip followed by port 9001.

This seems to have fixed my problem thank you so much, however will i need to run the Bat file every time I want to run UMS? Right now if i quit out of the application and start it normally it will still prompt me to install Java, is there a way to stop this?
