I than installed the latest version of OpenJDK and not version 8 as I was not able to find this version. I hope version 9 is okay. Re: Error Chromecast Registration Failed with the following error
Hello, I recall submitting a post a few months ago on my feedback regarding UMS 6.5.0. When running UMS on this version I could not remember getting this error which prompted to uninstall existing version and install 6.5.0. The install was completed yesterday at around 2 pm EST, and since than I hav...

However today I managed to replicate the issue in hopes this issue could finally get a fix. Please note the error does not appear until a few minutes of UMS l...

UMS Security
Hello, I noticed when using UMS.Deny the rule does not abide when using third party UPNP clients such as BubbleUPNP. I deny access to all Ip's in my subnet however bubbleupnp does not follow the rule and still displays the folder denied. I tried placing the IP of my Cell phone for example in the Bub...

UMS 6.5.0 Rocks
Hello UMS Team, I just thought I would chime in and express some gratitude and appreciation for the latest Release of Universal Media Server. I have to say the majority of the fixes in list were much anticipated, I love the new look with the ellipsis rather than the continuing title on the next line...

Re: Web Based version - Some videos taken long to play or do not play at all
Thanks for the clarification. So I've stopped using multiple renderers on one IP, the two culprit movies that did not play do play now after I toggled back and forth from "Flash" & "HTML5" once on each video. The wait time now on each video is about 3 to 4 seconds which is ac...

Re: Web Based version - Some videos taken long to play or do not play at all
Hi atamariya, Thank you for your response, I tried following your direction below and used the Skip Trans-coding for mp4 with no luck however it may be because of your second suggestion, I'm not sure how I'm running two renderers on One IP, how do I change this ? should I be deselecting all unnecess...
