Re: Missing Files from UMS to Panasonic Smart TV
It's not exactly sorted, ideally it would work also with Unicode characters, but it's complicated as UMS is Java, MediaInfo is C++ and something goes wrong when passing the filename from the Java code to the C++ code on some platforms. I found the GitHub issue descibing this bug, and it seems the pr...

It's there unless you have "Hide advanced options" enabled on the "General configuration" tab.

Re: Unknown Sign in Thumbnail
I was a bit worried about that - I think that once a media is marked as "played" it will keep that status even if you later disable monitoring of that folder. There are two possible resolutions that I can think of: Clear the cache by clicking the "Reset cache" button found on the...

Re: Missing Files from UMS to Panasonic Smart TV
Thank you, that was a lot more useful ;) The reason for the error unfortunately isn't revealed, but I know we've had some problems with non-ASCII file names and MediaInfo on some platforms. Could you try to rename one of the files to only contain ASCII characters and see it that makes the file visib...

Re: Unknown Sign in Thumbnail
It means that you've played it before. You can turn if off per shared folder by disabling the "Watch played status" checkbox. To explain, there is no difference in DLNA between "thumbnails" and "album art". Many people like to see what they've played before, especially ...

Re: Missing Files from UMS to Panasonic Smart TV
I can't see anything wrong in your log. It's important that you recreate the error while you're making the log file, that is, browse until it shows up empty. I can't see any sign in your log that you did this..?

Re: Missing Files from UMS to Panasonic Smart TV
Yes, after setting "Log Level" to Trace, quit UMS and start it again.
WHen that's done, reproduce the issue (do what doesn't work) and when that's done continue with "Pack debug files".

Ok, thanks. It was a shot in the blind anyway, but it was tempting to see if I might get lucky for a change

Re: 6.7.0 won't show video files on XBox 360
Thank you. I'm wouild only like to know if you used "update.jar" on a 6.6.0 or 6.7.1 installation? I consider it unlikely to work properly on a 6.6.0 installation.
