Delete could be disabled initially for the people worried about security. If that is not possible, then the "NEW" feature is the next best thing in my opinion. I wonder what other people would prefer? We are working on a feature that marks videos as being viewed and hides them. It is work...

With regards to flip, it's used for languages that read right-to-left, like Arabic. With regards to the code, there's some good stuff there like variable renaming, and then some stuff we won't keep too like formatting changes - I do need to write up a document on how this project's code is formatted...

I don't know, I don't really use any Maven features with NetBeans, I just use it as a code editor
