Re: Version 3.4.2 is released
Yes but it's not installed by default. No Java applet in utilities/plug-ins like previous OS's. Apple removed it for Mountain Lion.

Re: Version 3.4.2 is released
I experienced this with 3.4.0 for OS X. Sadly the crash locked up the player.Fixed a crash with certain files
Watched a film tonight *ahem* Gravity with 3.4.2 - OS X, fluid playback. Great experience on the Panasonic DMP-BDT330.

Re: Version 3.4.0 is released
This release seems sweet!
I was originally on the OS X 2.6.5 version because 3.3.0 and such was giving me poor playback on the Panasonic DMP-BDT330 as that uses the Vizio renderer. So far not had any problems and fluid playback with 3.4.0.

Re: Looking for media renderer for Panasonic DMP-BDT330
I cannot work out what is wrong. The few films that it does transcode, rubber bands after a streamed film has temporarily played but if I restart UMS the transcoding film plays no problem. Stop it then go into the film that streams, go back and try to play a film that will be transcoded and it start...

Re: Looking for media renderer for Panasonic DMP-BDT330
I'm puzzled why the default audio settings section says AC-3 encoding is 640. Then under the help section it says:
AC-3 Audio bitrate (in Kbits/s)
Here you set the quality of digital audio sound. Your AV-receiver or amplifier has to be capable of playing this quality. Default value is 384.

Re: Looking for media renderer for Panasonic DMP-BDT330
Looking in the log it seems I'm running out of buffer? I've restored Maximum bandwidth in Mb to 100 since I am connected to one 100Mb router. I'd have to switch to the 1Gb router for 0. Restored Maximum transcode buffer to 200, originally set to 100. Changed the order in video engines to FFmpeg to t...

Straight copy of the debug log. Is this right? not sure what you mean on trace. As all this information is way beyond me.

Looking for media renderer for Panasonic DMP-BDT330
Hi there, Been using Universal Media Server on OS X 10.8 for a long time now via Samsung All Share and until now I'm first starting to encounter problems with a new player, Panasonic DMP-BDT330 . Most of my *.mkv files are playing fine via DNLA but UMS is detecting the player as a Vizio Smart TV wit...
