When UMS is running as a service
The icon is not showing in the taskbar
Could you please do what Tversity does
And provide a visible icon
Which if 'right clicked' will provide an option to 'restart' the service

Just like to say thanks for the obvious improvements in the video launch times presumably as a result of the code optimisations - it is now noticeably faster than PMS.

I have started getting PS3 error "this data type is not supported (800266BD)" for all files transcoded using AviSynth/FFMpeg. They were working fine yesterday. I'm using LAV codecs (Shark007 Vista 6.3.0) MEncoder works fine. AviSynth/MEncoder is OK. TSMuxer gives error 800288E1. I reintsal...

And for LAV configuration, you have a choice of using the LAV install (splitter, video, audio) or Shark007. If you are using Shark007, try disabling FDDshow and render everything using LAV including AVI. I think you will be surprised at the results. Note you will neeed a Gbit link to your display ho...

Hi I usually find this is an issue with the audio Have you tired the Shark007 codecs (for Vista) with the LAV 0.50.5 codec release http://shark007.net/vistacodecpackage.html Alternatively, since you are playing just 'avi' files then try the LAV 0.50.5 on its own - see http://forum.doom9.org/showthre...
