Hmmm, i'll look into it. tested fine on my end, but i use the JDK not the JRE so there maybe something going on

If you look in the linux forum i believe there maybe people who have done it. But i'm about to setup a linux based UMS running 24/7 myself and that where i'm going to start in.

I think there maybe an issue with xbox and 5.x.x
I believe they are working on it, to try and come up with a solution

Update on the trend issue, I've been in contact with trend over the last tree weeks and have now been bumped up to a Level 2 support case due the nature of the issue.
hopefully it gets sorted soon

Ok, i'll provide you shortly with a way you could post a Trace log and a Jar launcher output so we can look into this issue.
Also could you (not you sortie or cappy) provide me with the details of the Mac version you are using so i can direct my test to those versions.

I'm using Trend Micro as well and am seeing the same issue. If you unblock it in trend micro, it should install. It's a false positive and we will get trend micro to amend the issue

So the code isn't signed by apple, via a apple developer ID due to the cost. Thats why gate keeper picks it up, the files are fine and aren't damaged like you said in your post

Cheers for testing, trace logs would be great so i can see whats the issue and rebuild ffmpeg with the right stuff

Could you please test this version to see if ffmpeg works for you. I only had time to build a Java 8 version but if you can test that would be great.
