Re: Version 6.6.0 released

Problems opening the DMG files on Mac OS X Sierra.
Both the Java 7&8 downloads give a message that there is no mountable file system.
Downloaded the files through the Fosshub link on the frontpage and through Sourceforge to no avail.
Maybe a bug or incorrect upload ?

Re: New computer

Hej Bobby50, I can't help to notice that the info you posted is saying you using PMS 1.90.1 ??????? Why don't you use UMS and profit from all features that are added from the developers over time, as PMS has not been updated the last few years. Nevertheless for getting your connection active, sure d...

Re: PS4 won't let UMS transcode

Well here's an issue I'm familiar with as well. I have'nt found a solution though. I use the no transcoding with DTS checked in UMS and on my PS4 settings ,I use the CC function for subtitles. This way the subtitles are streamed to the PS4 in the language you set as preference in UMS. All is working...

Re: having problems with Java

Well the Apple site says Lion will set you back €20,- When however you can update for free through software update ,then it's even better. When upgraded to Lion every following upgrade is free in each case. On the Oracle site you better choose JRE which stands for Java Runtime Environment instead of...

Re: having problems with Java

Why not updating your OS to 10.6.8 ?
As I recall these updates are free as it remains in the Snow Leopard range.
You should be able to find these on Apple's download page.

Re: Version 6.5.2 released

Hey Stotka,

Using the same setʉp over here and just ignoring the message and starting UMS seems to work for me for over a year or so.
This was also an issue on previous MacOs versions.
