Re: Xbox One Getting DLNA Support

(Big post, new post) http://imgur.com/EjDiuOh.png :) Same problem. You know, I've seen this root thing somewhere else: http://i.imgur.com/e3PWUFc.png (Networked computer. Not the one running UMS.) New log since name change: DEBUG 2014-09-09 00:01:55.217 [main] Reading cred.path: default: ""...

Re: Xbox One Getting DLNA Support

I have one, but it's been off. I did a "clean install" too before sending logs. I can unhook it from the network to be safe if there's anything else further you need. Edit: Edit That printout might come from the one actually as the isXBOX functions looks at the name. Maybe the one shouldn'...

Re: Xbox One Getting DLNA Support

kk, dropped a large post in the tracker thread.

I am able to manually set the profile to Xbox One. I just thought it was worth mentioning that it doesn't detect automatically.

PM me your gamertag if you want a beta invite. MS takes their sweet time with them though :/

Re: Xbox One Getting DLNA Support

The Preview program just got the DLNA update! Unfortunately, UMS is not working with it. I'm using version 4.1.1. Firstly, it comes up as an unknown renderer. But more importantly, the file system isn't navigable. The only folder available is "root", and every folder inside that is "r...

Xbox One Getting DLNA Support

MKV support too! This is surprising since Windows doesn't support it natively.

Re: What do you run UMS on (Spec's etc....)

I run it on my main desktop:
2 3TB drives for media in RAID 1
i7 4770k
8GB RAM
Windows 8.1

Back when I ran it on an i3 550, I was still able to transcode on the fly with 1080p (when set to use 4 cores (Hyperthreading) and not 2).

Renderer: PS3, wired. Will switch to XB1 when it's supported.

Re: PS4, UMS and you

So it seems the XB1 only has PlayTo, so UMS doesn't work on it either.

Re: PS4, UMS and you

I've been following this obsessively: There's been a big backlash (~70 page thread on GAF) and Sony has taken notice. They added a line to their FAQ: Will PS4 support media servers or DLNA support in order to stream videos or movies from a home PC? The PS4 system does not support client functionalit...

Re: Version 1.4.0 is released

Thanks for the program. I love that I can move through a video now without worrying about it desyncing. I've hit a new bug, however. After watching a number of videos, they can start jumping around. The jumps happen just a few seconds after starting and are consistent. The problem is fixed by quitti...
