I noticed recently someone asked about UMS and Java 8. I have gone ahead and compiled and posted
Here a version of 3.4.3 built on the latest Java 8. You can get a copy from
here, and feel free to post any feedback.

Hello Optimus,
Since you did such a great job on developing the java 7 version for mac users , is there any chance that we , the mac users ,can expect an java 8 version of UMS as well ?

Java 8 versions for Windows and OS-X are on sourceforge for 3.6.0
