We are pleased to announce our latest integration to the UMS ecosystem: The Movie DB (TMDB).

This incredible service allows us to make more matches with richer data than ever before, with over 694k movies, 119k TV series, 2.9m TV episodes, and more than 1,000 new images added every day. TMDB joins our existing integrations with Open Subtitles and The Open Movie Database, which we combine in our API.

This has already allowed us to deliver more matches for your content, and future UMS releases will display new data, which will include:

• Information and images about TV seasons
• Details and images of people like actors and directors
• Background images and logos to the web interface
• Support for localized images

In addition to adding TMDB, we have been optimizing our API for performance and stability, which allows us to serve over 240 million requests each month to over 160,000 unique users.
