Live subtitles still not working for me. I see the subtitles on the menu but no country banners. If I choose one the file starts pla4 ying but no subtitles displayed.
Ubuntu 14.04 + Sony Bravia W series.

Hoping someday soon they can fix streaming for Vizio TV's like the M Series (M801d-A3 or M701 series).. On the TV when you select the folder where the media is stored from UMS, it buffers like it's going to play a something.. Then freezes the TV until you exit UMS.. The Buffer shows -2,501 and current bandwidth 25,296 on UMS. You don't even get a chance to select a show to stream.

I use BubbleUpnp to play a mkv video using chromecast on mg TV, I have to uncheck the Android renderer; otherwise I get the following in the log and that video will not play:
08-18 21:18:11 Error adding child: "xxxxx.mkv"
java.lang.NullPointerException: null
at net.pms.dlna.DLNAResource.addChild(DLNAResource.java:643) [ums.jar:4.0.3]
at net.pms.dlna.DLNAResource.addChild(DLNAResource.java:483) [ums.jar:4.0.3]
at net.pms.dlna.MapFile.manageFile(MapFile.java:110) [ums.jar:4.0.3]
at net.pms.dlna.MapFile.analyzeChildren(MapFile.java:169) [ums.jar:4.0.3]
at net.pms.dlna.DLNAResource.discoverWithRenderer(DLNAResource.java:1030) [ums.jar:4.0.3]
at net.pms.dlna.DLNAResource.search(DLNAResource.java:1086) [ums.jar:4.0.3]
But if I play the same video file on my smart TV directly, I have to check the Android renderer; otherwise, BubbleUpnp gives me the message: Action failed 501
Is there something can be done on this so that I don't need to keep on changing the Android renderer flag? Thanks.

Not sure if this has been reported yet, but I started getting mp3 playback issues when shuffle playing folders with a large number of songs, (pause and restarting, and finally complete playback stop) so I rolled back to 4.0.2, and don't see those issues with it.

Additional observations: Large folder file lists load MUCH faster in .02, and play startup is also significantly faster.
