General:

You can download it from the front page.

This release fixes RTL language support and improves audio/video sync

Changes since 2.1.1:
  • General:
    • Fixed subtitle support for RTL languages (Arabic, Persian, etc.)
    • Updated MPlayer/MEncoder to SB44, which:
      • Fixed subtitle bug on certain CPUs
      • Improved audio/video sync in some cases
      • Fixed memory leaks
      • Improves AVI support

Upgrade Notes:

For versions prior to 1.5.0:
It is recommended to delete your UMS.conf file prior to installing this version. For Windows users it is in ProgramData/UMS/.

For all versions:
It is recommended (but usually not necessary) to uninstall the older version before installing the new one.

Ominously quiet here...:-)

Either the board has moved again and i missed it....or you have produced the perfect version!

I'll go with the last one!

Thanx SJ!

Hebrew subtitles aren't working correctly. seems as if rtl is still backwards. That can be fixed in this version when unchecking ass/ssa style.
Please fix this issue.
Thank you

*EDIT: Version 2.1.1 is working perfect with Hebrew RTL... Issue is only with 2.1.2

Great work!
Just found out about UMS this weekend, while trying to get around my Apple TV and migrate as much as possible into my Sony Bravia NX700 XMB. The ultimate goal was to get SVT Play, I got so far as to get the channel folders there, I could play content from other channels icefilms for example. But in the SVT Play folders, there was no content. I tried to install UMS both on my primary Macbook Pro and my HP with Windows XP, that hasn't been used for a year. So I have to use my Apple TV and via AirPlay mirror my desktop to my TV in order to see SVT Play, but I will follow this project with great interest. Keep up the good work!

Looking at the changelog, there's a ton of new stuff in 2.2.0. Can't wait.

UMS has made my PS3 purchase totally worth it. Also, you guys made me get a new computer...when I got it, I went in looking for one that could run UMS effeciently, especially when transcoding. LOL.
