Java upgrade

The results from our second poll are in and showed that 95% of our users have already updated to Java 7.
This coupled with the fact that the current version of Java 6 is the last "public update" for Java 6, we have decided to compile UMS with Java 7 from our next release onwards.
This means that those 5% of our users who are still on Java 6 will need to update to Java 7 in order to use UMS.
We have already started to take advantage of new code options in Java 7 that were not available in Java 6 which will make the program faster and our code cleaner.
We have been waiting a long time to be able to update our code to Java 7 so it's great to finally get to do it. Hope you guys enjoy the advantages
