hey guys i tried the 6.3.1.1 watching supernatural and i got disconected using ps4 media player looks like the problem still persists its doing just like 6.3.1 about 20 minutes its shuts off like i closed the program i will return to 6.3 until the problem is resolved. maybe you should look to 6.3 and compare to 6.3.1 to see its is someting different on the script program or simply skip this version and jump to 6.4 starting from the scratch just a sugestion though.

i dont know about the disconnect problem with this version yet but for me on 6.3.1 and 6.3.1.1 the media server is not disappearing on ps3 after shutting down UMS on pc.
from what i read 6.3.1.1 was meant to fix both of this.

no for me its only Works until 6.3.0 after that on 6.3.1 and 6.3.1.1 they're both auto disconect after 10 to 20 minutes on ps4 media player i'm on Windows 10 using java 8.91 version using the media server also on the java 8. i don't know if the problem is on universal media server or here like compatibilty issues or something like that.

Registered to give feedback, tested 6.3.1.1 - ps4 disconnects after 18mins1second of video streaming. Checked UMS on phone and web and server has not crashed. Go on to ps4 close the media player, restart media player and it now shows UMS again and allows another 18mins1second of streaming before disconnecting. It does not matter what the file type is. This only happens with ps4. The other thing that has changed for me with 6.3.1.1 is all audio and video playback is degraded, as if I'm watching through an old webcam. The poor stream quality happens on all devices and computers. Uninstalling 6.3.1.1 and using 6.3.0 returns everything to normal and hd video and audio is perfect again. I have also noticed closing UMS version 6.3.1.1 causes java to be unresponsive and UMS can't be opened until windows shuts down java. I have tried manually ending java task and it prolongs its unresponsiveness. These issues with UMS 6.3.1.1 may be related to the way UMS communicates with devices on the lan and wireless network through ipv4? Why the ps4 loses connection to the server I can't figure out because it does not lose connection if I revert to UMS 6.3.0

yes my devices here are wired including the ps4 even with cable connection on 6.3.1 and 6.3.1.1 the ums self shuts off about 10 to 20 minutes i also noticed a downgrade on the video and audio playblack since 6.3.0. i was watching a concert from the corrs the other day comparing the versions on the 6.3.0 looks more clean and the audio is more louder and worked better on dts. i guess we should skip this new versions and wait to a compelete new one like 6.4 or whatever comes next.

i almost ran into a connectivity issue. after upgrading to latest version it would not find my PS3 but after using the search option in the PS3 menu it appeared in UMS

Neither my PS4 or PS3 show up as renderers in 6.3.1 or 6.3.1.1

Rolled back to 6.3.0 and they appear again.
