cannot play audio media on my iphone via wireless connection

I have set up the UMS on a PC with good power and good RAM. I have a 100MB fiber connection from AT&T. The wireless connection is via and Engenius AP. When I navigate the network I can find and play songs at will. Whenever I do, it plays for a minute or so and then stops. What could be the likely culprit? I am using a iPhone 8.
