It might seem like a stupid question, but how do you update settings?
If I try making a change, say in the navigation settings, then quit and manually restart, the change is not retained.
I have also tried making the change then rebooting my PC but this also doesn't keep the change.
Am I right in assuming I have to create a new profile for every change I make, or am I missing something?

Settings should be saved instantly, although the server might need to be restarted for some to have an effect.

So, what is it with the 'Restart Server'?
What should it be: grey, blue or red?
When should I need to click it?

when it is red you need to restart for changes to work, although for some things I have had to quit an re-run UMS before.

It appears my initial problems were because I had installed the windows service. Having disabled this UMS now works as expected.
