Web Interface set username pw

Hi,
Would set a Web Interface access Password. username/pw
what have I tried:
set in the ums.conf & ums.cred
ums.conf
web_authenticate = (default true)
ums.cred
web.server=user,pw
I have searches also the forum.
cant find working setting.
where must i have setting in the .cred .conf or both?
what is the correct setting?
my intention is only in the web inferface (ip:9001) login with pw
