I'm having the same exact issue as madmagix. The only difference is that I am running Mavericks OSX 10.9.5 instead of Yosemite. I'll post a log when I get a chance.

It worked!

madmagix, here's what I did:

1. Go to the General Config Tab
2. Select Xbox One under Default renderer when automatic detection fails and check off Force Default Renderer.

Hope it works for you too!

If someone can post logs after doing that fix, it could help us fix it, thanks :)

Hello,

I dont know if it matters and or if someone has came up with a fix for UMS not detecting Xbox One.
This is what i did.

Only changes were to line 20

Code: Select all

UserAgentSearch = XBOX-ONE|Xbox-SystemOS|NSPlayer/12|MediaRenderer
I have attached the conf file for you to use.

It hasnt been working for me at all, ive tried everything, windows, ubuntu, different versions. This was the only thing that has worked for me.
All i can see is the naming is different XBOX ONE/ Xbox One to XBOX-ONE and MediaRenderer

If i dont do this the XBOX ONE is recognized as a unknown renderer and or and Xbox 360.

Can you please attach logs from 5.0.0-a1 so we can see what's going on?

Is there a way to send DTS audio to the Xbox One encapsulated in a PCM file similar to how it works currently on the PS3?

It doesn't seem to be possible right now but if Microsoft makes it possible we will support it :)
