Version 9.0.0-b2 released

General:

In the 9.0.0 releases, we no longer require Java to be installed, at any time.

Note: Nothing has changed for macOS, so we are still linking to b1 for that OS.

  • Fixed on Windows and Linux

Compatibility notes:

The Windows releases work on Windows Vista onwards.
The macOS versions require 64-bit macOS/OS X.

Thanks for the feedback. We will likely release the final version this week unless we hear about any bugs. It seems quite stable
