Download Atlas is a software portal and they have recently completed security tests on UMS. They tested for adware, spyware and viruses and found it to be 100% clean.
We have added a button to signify this on our About page

NIS is still placing the UMS executables in quarantine when I am downloading them. It is all due to the fact that within their user community very few people have downloaded it and therefore it shows as untrusted. I have written to the as I believe you have to. Just a pain, let me know if I can help. I would be more than happy to communicate with Norton but I think they needed to speak with you last time.

Norton told me they had verified it. I guess they only verified that version. Very lame feature from them!
