Version 2.4.2 is released

This release fixes a bug on some renderers where no files/folders were showing, updates FFmpeg for OS X and improves the Clean Install option on Windows.


Changes since 2.4.1:

  • Fixed bug on some renderers where no files/folders were showing
  • The Clean Install option on Windows deletes the MPlayer Contconfig cache
• External Components:
  • Updated FFmpeg for OS X to 1.1.2, which:
    • Adds automatic multithreading
    • Improves QuickTime format support
    • Supports decoding WMA Lossless
    • Supports decoding RealAudio Lossless
    • Fixes security issues
    • Fixes over 150 bugs
    • Supports RTMP
    • Supports Opus
    • Supports encoding external subtitles
    • Supports decoding DTS-HD

Upgrade Notes:

For versions prior to 1.5.0:
It is recommended to delete your UMS.conf file prior to installing this version. For Windows users you can choose the "clean install" option while installing instead.

For all versions:
It is recommended (but usually not necessary) to uninstall the older version before installing the new one.

This breaks Infidel's update.jar. ;(

I get this error when loading up 2.4.2:

EDIT: Just confirmed it too. I went back to 2.4.1 and it loads just fine.

2.4.2 completely breaks Jumpy? Or just the update.jar Infidel made?

EDIT: Jumpy is working fine in 2.4.2. Just the update.jar is broken now.
