MPlayer & Windows Media Player

I am just wondering why it was necessary to remove MPlayer from the UMS. It is a very stable platform to play XBMC files. It plays movies & long videos with out an interruption or stoppage. Is it possible to put MPlayer back in next UMS release?

Is it possible to embed Windows Media Player in UMS like other players?
