UMS streams to Samsung TV, but screen stays black

Post by nouse »

Hi,

see the attached log files. This behaviour is reproducible and remained after switching the encoder from ffmpeg to MEN. It started to happen after a recent update of UMS.

I am running Win10, 64bit, and a Samsung MU8000

Help is appreciated, as usual :)

Thank you, but according to my firewall settings all rules for JAVA are set to "Allow the connection".

today, something new happened: i scrolled through a directory on my tv, and it suddenly froze. Couldnt navigate anymore. Here is what happened according to the normal log:

23:30:47 INFO Started playing **** on your [TV] Samsung 8 Series (55)
23:30:52 INFO Started playing **** on your [TV] Samsung 8 Series (55)
23:30:54 INFO Stopped playing**** on your [TV] Samsung 8 Series (55)
23:30:57 INFO Started playing **** on your [TV] Samsung 8 Series (55)
23:30:58 INFO Stopped playing **** on your [TV] Samsung 8 Series (55)
23:31:00 INFO Started playing **** on your [TV] Samsung 8 Series (55)
23:31:01 INFO Stopped playing **** on your [TV] Samsung 8 Series (55)
....(list continues)

I dont know if its related to UMS or to my remote control, but apparently UMS started streaming every single file i was scroling through. Nothing happened on screen, though.
Right now UMS has lost much of its functionality for me, unfortunately. And it used to work like a charm some months ago -.-
