External subtitles and MKV with subtitles

Hello,

I have a problem with external subtitles under 8.1.0 version when I played an MKV with packed subtitles. I have hungarian subtitle.

What you need:
- an MKV file with two subtitles (forced and full)
- a subtitle what name is same like MKV file, and format is SRT

In UMS check these settings under Transcoding settings tab -> Common Transcode Settings -> Subtitles settings tab:
- Subtitles language priority: hu,eng,fre,jpn,ger,und
- forced language: hu
- forced tags: forced
- Automatically load *srt/*sub subtitles with the same file name: checked
- Force externap subtitles: checked
- Use embedded style: checked

I have Samsung D5500 TV, on film name signed with subtitles (ex. XYZ (Hungarian subtitle)). On TV inactive subtitle option and subtitle was no loaded.
If I converted MKV to MP4, and place same folder when has SRT, then external subtitle was loaded.

What's problem with MKV and why not load external subtitle?

You need to create debug files as described above in red while trying to play a file with this problem.
