Odroid xu4 first boot times!!

Post by mariogomes »

I’m just booting the image of Ubuntu 18.04 I got from the odroid website on the xu4, things happened to my last install and so I just did a clean one. It’s on a microSD so I expect it to be slow, but it’s been an hour I think and it is still at the output line mounted file system without journal opts null. I forget how long the other install took but I don’t think it took this long... I am alright with leaving it overnight since it’s 10pm now and I’m tired but I wish it would give more outputs on what it’s doing. If I needed to stop it, what is a safe way, and is this normal? Thanks

Edit: I got impatient after 5 minutes from writing this post, so i held the power button and it restarted. Its been 2 minutes about and it got one line past the mounted filesystem line before, now it says random: crng init done.
