VLC launched in not visible as valid dlna in UMS UI-status

Post by Trebly »

Hi,

I begin with UMS configuration in not simple auto configurations (define *.conf files so that the good features are associated and right connection to right dlna renderers could be set).

I meet several problem, for each I am going to create a thread.
I have installed UMS as server on one computer which manages several media sources.
All the problems seems to come from a not good identification of the dlna renderers

The first problem is :

conditions :
  • On a computer I have installed and I run (just launched) VLC and Windows Media player.
VLC is not visible as dlna renderer on the UI while UMS appears into the list of the servers and a display can be performed

WMP appear greyed on the UI and WMP on the computer shows UMS Server but tells access is denied by the server.
Nevertheless I get a Chrome icon on the UI for the computer IP and not associated conf file.

Joined the debug.log sequence

What I have missed ? What I must do ?

Best regards,

Trebly
