Best app for playing music on Android phone?

Newbie questions: What Android app can I use to play music on a phone? Can the app connect to UMS outside of Wi-fi?

There are many, but BubbleUPnP is the one I use on Android. You would need to be on your local network/Wi-fi to play via UPnP AV. If you wnat to play via the web interface instead, you could do so from anywhere, but it would mean that you'd have to expose UMS' web interface port in your router, and that would mean that anybody on the internet could play anything exposed by UMS.... which might not be what you'd want.
