UMS with DLNA Server in Windows 10
I have recently discovered UMS having previously streamed from my computer using the DLNA server built in to Windows.
When I started using UMS it was a great improvement on what I had been getting but I never turned off/disabled the DLNA server on the computer.
When streaming now the screen appears to show available streamed content provided by both the Windows DLNA server & by UMS.
Can I turn off DLNA server or is it necessary to UMS operation?

You can turn off the Windows "DLNA server" - they are independent of each other.

Thanks for this advice. I'm never too happy tinkering with some of the more deep-set settings etc. but finally took the plunge.
UMS continuing to stream over the network with no sign of anything else.
Once again, thanks.
