Can't see external subtitle option (without transcoding) in "TRANSCODE" folder

Post by lukecarter49 »

Hello, everyone!

Here's the thing: I used to have a configuration in my UMS in which, if there were an SRT file with the video in the folder, the option to watch the movie with that subtitle WITHOUT TRANSCODING would show within the TRANSCODE folder. That option was always the second one and it even would show a little round flag with the main country of the language of the subtitle, you know?
I usually back up my settings, but the last time I formatted my PC I forgot to do so, and then I lost the configuration that does that.
Basically, what I want is the option to watch the video with the external subtitle without transcoding the video. I know it can be done because I've been doing it for the past two years, but I just can't seem to find the right settings again :(

My TV is an LG with WebOS.

Here's a photo of my current setup: https://imgur.com/a/3p19SAb
And yes, I did add the subtitle option to the config file: https://imgur.com/a/hddDeBN

Please help, it's so bad to have to take my laptop to the living room and use an hdmi cable like a caveman :(
