Engines cant run - error=13, Permission denied
UMS 11.1.0:
Under Transcoding settings TAB:
Cannot run program "/usr/bin/mencoder": error=13, Permission denied
Also for ALL other Engines as well
However, using UMS version 10.21.1 only had a permissions issue for tsMuxeR Video and tsMuxeR Audio - everything else was just fine
I have attached a LOG file for UMS 11.1.0
Im using KDE Plasma under Linux:
KDE INFO:
Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20220702
KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.95.0
Qt Version: 5.15.5
Kernel Version: 5.18.6-1-default (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz
Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: AMD PITCAIRN

Re: Engines cant run - error=13, Permission denied
Despite this, UMS still plays all my videos just fine
I did not have this issue before with either of the versions i stated above
So, i suspect its a case of OS Updates that have changed things
I have tested both of these UMS version on 2 separate linux OS's - both are opensuse tumbleweed and both are kept up-to-date package wise
