UMS did not upconvert to 60fps despite the option is activated

Post by orangpelupa »

so..., i have set UMS to upconvert to 60 fps by thicking the checkmark on Avisynth/ffmpg and Avisynth/mencoder (only those transcoders are green, other are disabled).

but when i stream to PS4, all still in original FPS. it was not upconverted to 60fps.

any idea how to debug this? the log did not say anything except PS4 is playing xxxxxxx.

thanks

Fixed by

install K lite codec mega.
install SVP and its FFDSHOW

disable LAV, force to use FFDSHOW

make sure UMS set to Avisynth/Mencoder

now it runs in 60 fps interframe :D

if its not smooth enough, go to the UMS installation folder and look for interframe. edit the script to "Smoother". Its still not as smooth as SVP though :(

Hello,
I am using UMS on my pc to watch content on my TV.
I have installed SVP and it runs perfectly on my pc and plays all video files @60fps.
I have followed same steps as you to make files play @60fps on Tv in real time.
But when i use avisynth option the videos dont play on tv at all.

Are you using any special scripts in UMS?
Can you guide me through the process clearly?

Thank You.
