ffmpeg does not show external subtitles for some mkv files..

I am trying to use ffmpeg as the default engine. While all the mkv videos work fine, in some of them external subtitles (srt) do not show. Not sure why. I will attach logs soon.

Any updates, thoughts ?. Any more data that can be useful ?
