[Solved] Samsung F6200 doesn't show thumbnails

Hi,
I'm new to UMS, so maybe this has already been answered. Excuse me if that is the case.
I have a Samsung F6200 TV and I can't manage to see my UMS served videos (so far I only have videos in my shared folders) with thumbnails or cover art. Is this a known issue, or is there some configuration I'm missing?

Does the files show up but without thumbs?

Ok. Here go the logs. I've just started the server, set the log level to TRACE and, on the Tv, browsed through some of the shared folders. All I got was the default icons for "videos".

The files show, and they play perfectly.

The TV doesn't even request the thumbnails. Maybe try changing

Code: Select all

ThumbnailAsResource=true

to false in the render conf...

I still don't get any thumbnails. I'm uploading the logs, to see if they help.

It looks (after looking at your link) that Samsung decided it was a good idea to start using JPEG_SM stuff instead of JPEG_TN. Don't know the difference but we'll update.

I'm uploading the log again, because the last one was with ThumbnailAsResource=true. I had not read the text well... Anyway, the result is the same. No thumbs.
