how to make chromecast work?
i dont see anything in the wiki about getting chromecast to work and i saw in the renderers thread that you use an android app or something? im totally lost as to what im supposed to be doing.

Yes, you need something like Avia or LocalCast on an android device to Tabcast UMS.

In case anyone else comes searching for this like I did, I just downloaded the LocalCast app (I'm on Android) then once in the app click on the menu, tap NAS/LINKS, then select DLNA/UPnP, then select Universal Media Server. LocalCast will then show you a menu similar to the one you're used to. Select your Chromecast by tapping the yellow cast button, then select your media in the app and it will start streaming to your CC.
This is awesome. Combined with kmttg, I can now record shows with my Tivo, pull them onto my PC, and then stream them to the bedroom via UMS/LocalCast/Chromecast!
