[Solved]Problem of Asian characters in folder name of DVD
The problem is found in UMS version 4.2.0 for windows and java7, which is running on a PC with Windows 2012 R2.
When I put a DVD iso file into a folder whose name including the Asian characters and play it on the TV, then it look like an empty folder. But if I put the same DVD iso file into a folder whose name including only the English characters and play it on the TV, then everything is OK. I don't try the filename including the Asian characters, but I think maybe have the same problem.
I try the same thing on the PS3 Media Server 1.90.1 x64 version for Windows on the same PC, and the problem is NOT exist. With or without the Asian characters in the folder name, it works well.
The mkv file has NO problem. With or without the Asian characters in the folder name, it works well.
Can you tell me how to solve it ? Thanks.

Re: Problem of Asian characters in folder name of DVD ISO fi
Can anybody help me to solve this problem?
Re: Problem of Asian characters in folder name of DVD ISO fi
I solved this problem myself.
By the log, I found this problem is raised by the Mplayer and Mencoder. Then I found the Mplayer and Mencoder of UMS is version SB59, but the Mplayer and Mencoder of PMS is version SB41. So I download SB41 from http://www.spirton.com/mplayer-mencoder-subjunk-build/, and replace the ones in the win32 folder of PMS. Then it works.
So I think this is the Mplayer and Mencoder's problem, not the UMS's problem.
