[Solved] UMS 5.0.0-b1 trouble streaming to Panasonic S60

Post by peterd »

I'm using 5.0.0-b1 on Win 8.1, trying to stream to Panasonic Viera S60. Using the DLNA client, I can see the listing of my music, but can only actually stream MP3 files. All other files are indicated as LPCM but won't stream. No error is given by the client, it just sits at the screen where it should be playing. The only way to stream the AAC files is to go to the "Transcode" folder and stream the MP3 version. What do you recommend that I do to fix this? Logs attached.

Thanks in advance!
Pete

Hi peterd, I've hopefully fixed this in 4.3.1 which will be released in a few hours

I'm now having this same problem again: LPCM files won't stream, only MP3 files work. This has been an issue since 5.1. Is there a fix?

Hi peterd, thanks for the post! Your logs don't seem to show an attempt to play a LPCM file, can you please attempt to play a file that doesn't work? Also, if possible, please include logs of playing the same file with a version of UMS that does work, so I can see what changed. Thanks
