LG 47LW5700 TV with UMS 5.1.4
I have an LG 47LW5700 TV that plays AVI and MTS files. The following explains my dilema when editing the conf file.
MediaInfo = True
1. MTS and AVI files are transoded causing buffering problems
2. ARW raw photo files does not show an X on the icon but plays properly
3. Flac files show as single files and plays properly
** I tried the skip transcoding option by putting avi, mts but still transcodes due to high bit rate per log
MediaInfo = False
1. MTS and AVI files are sent directly without problems
2. ARW raw photo files show an X on the icon but plays properly when chosen
3. Flac files show as two files and where one plays properly but cuts out without finishing the song and the other does not play at all
Why do I have 2 files for Flac and an X on my raw files when MediaInfo is set to false where videos play correctly and when I set it to true, photos and flac are good but videos are transcoded. I would very much to set it to true if UMS will just stream the videos without transcoding.
Thanks for the help.
