Always transcode AC3
Re: Always transcode AC3
After playing around with this for some time I found that simply manipulating the path and/or filename or by modifying the media folder, I can get the file to correctly transcode.
Some things that I've done that seem to help:
- remove web-dl from the path and/or filename. The word web-dl or any simliar word (webdl, w-ebdl, w-e-b-dl) will cause the a52 error.
- create an empty file in the same folder as the mkv
- create an empty folder in the same folder as the mkv
- remove external subs or move them to a separate folder

I'm using the same configuration. Working here.esoul wrote:Hey
How can this work. UMS ist simply creating a new database folder.
Now I am not using a custom config file, because the standard config already has the line "TranscodeAudio = WAV". Anything I play within the "Transcode" folder ist being recognized as ac3/A52.
