Help, I get a blank/black screen with sound on some MKV files on my PS3...
Hi all,
I've just recently switched from PS3 Media Server to this Universal Media Server so I'm a bit of a newbie. I've been encountering more and more newer MKV files that just plays back as blank/blank screen with audio on my PS3 when I stream from the UMS. Is there any new codecs that I need to download for the UMS to translate them into something the PS3 can render? If I select "Transcode" from the PS3 I can usually see the videos. Is there a setting to "auto" transcode them when its a format my PS3 can't natively render?
