I have understood that mencoder in its latest version has gpu video acceleration. Would be good that could enable this option by menu.

It supports CoreAVC which uses GPU but is a paid program, I don't think it works with any free programs.

ok, I'll install the CoreAVC, once done to solve the problem of UMS with my television, and then i'll try it
