Cant play subtitles on samsung TV

Hello. So I've been trying to put external subtitles on a couple of movies but I haven't been able to. I used every setting I could think of but I still can't see the subtitles. The tv model is UN32J5500. The movies don't have internal subtitles either. Subtitles are .srt, and UTF-8. I'm running windows 10 64.

Check viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4075 and see if it works for you.
-- UMS serving PS3, WDTV, Samsung H6400 + J5500 and Kalemsoft renderers! (no video transcoding but remuxing accepted :D )
