Whatever buffer "rc" is, I'm pretty sure that's the reason it stutters. You'll just have to wait until someone that knows more about this than me comes along.

So it actually seems that vlc and possibly some settings were the issue. VLC causes major lags on android devices. As my logs show I have about 20 dlna players/renderers.

as you can see you my server is barely running over 6% and no network utilization. It seems vlc sucks now lol. Kodi is the only app I have found to be used in conjuction with bubble upnp server and app to make this work via wan and lan connections.
