UMS not finding my Samsung smart TV anymore

Didn't turn it off but I have TWC for my internet and occasionally, I may lose connection with a notice via my hp 8600 printer saying (scan to printer is now offline) momentarily but, I've had TWC for about a year and a half. The problem starting up now is quite perplexing.

I'm having this same issue all of a sudden although my Samsung tv is model UA60JS7200W. I have a wired network, no firewall, it's all worked previously, it works on the PS3 when connected to the same ethernet cable and port that I use on the tv. Very frustrating. The problem started with my being able to see UMS on the tv like normal but when I would select it as the source it would bring up the little Samsung loading circles and sit forever on those. Now I can't see UMS in the source choices. For most of the time UMS was working on the tv I had the tv connected to the network using its in-built wireless. Switching back to wireless now does not fix the issue. I've tried UMS 5.5.0 and UMS 6.0.0b2. I'm on Java 1.8.0_71-b15 but I have also tried UMS 5.5.0 on an older laptop with 1.8.0_44 or so and the issue happened there too. Windows 7 on both my computers.
