Accessing .m3u8 stream
Hi folks,
I am new to UMS and have been trying to make my server stream an internet live stream to my local network. I didn't really find any documentation and couldn't make it work, so maybe you guys can help me.
I added the following line to my WEB.conf:
videostream.Web,TV=ZDF,http://zdf1314-lh.akamaihd.net/i/de14_v ... aster.m3u8
The corresponding entry (ZDF) shows up (as directory) when I access the server via my TV or the browser. However, the directory contains only further .m3u8 files that cannot be played either way.
Do I have to do anything else to make this work (if it is possible at all)?
Cheers

Try using the Jumpy plug in and then setting up an "earmark" for the website you would like to stream. Its a rather complicated task to just explain here but there is a whole topic on how to do it here Jumpy. If that won't play the webstream its likely the websites security doesn't allow viewing videos externally like that.
