I used every version of PMS from 1.4 to 1.72 with dts passthru and i had no problems with cinavia error codes (ps3 4.00). Why are you using that build? Is there another reason? Does that work with the latest f/w of ps3? (after 4.11)

Cinavia kicks in when you don't do DTS passthrough unfortunately.

I have just install UMS (2.2.2) and i will make it my default dlna server. It seems an evolution of pms and i am happy with this!
I hope the dts option works here as well as in pms

Can you confirm that in the latest ps3 firmware a cinavia infected movie, streamed by UMS 2.2.2 with dts passthru, plays without triggering the cinavia error codes?
(I have not updated my ps3 for a while because i worry about "incompatibilities"!)

There has never been a problem with Cinavia with DTS passthrough, it only kicks in when the audio is converted.

I have the box checked and I get the error all the time on my ps3. There's a bunch of stuff I can't play. Doesn't matter which version of UMS i use. I saw something about setting up profiles, but I don't know how to do that, nor is there any instructions that I have been able to find.

Of note. The new alpha build works great. I couldn't use the older ones because it would give the DNLA error. Gone in 3.0.0-a3 for me.
